We just made it easier for you to order our wine, just follow these easy steps:
1) Check to see if your state is on the list below
2) Check our wine list to see what you'd like to order
3) Email us at Rachel@wildsidewinery.com or call the winery (859) 879-3982 from 1-7 Tues - Saturday with the following info;
Your name, address, phone, email, credit card #, expiration, code.
Your order for 3, 6, 9, 12 ... (increments of 3) bottles of your choice.
The recipient's name, address, phone, and email.
Althought the shipping laws have recently made it easier to ship wine, individual states are trying to keep it difficult. Their reasoning is that they want to encourage their states wineries while discouraging other states from shipping in. They do this by adding licensing, fees and reporting requirements. We work with a company called Vinoshipper and other companies to handle all the requirements for each state that allow shipping. See the list of states below that we can ship to.
Costs: It can cost more to ship wine than if you could pick it up, but we will help out by giving you free, the special Fedex approved foam shipping containers which cost us an average of $10 depending on the size.
However, if you have to drive more than a half hour, the cost of gas and wear on your vehicle is actual higher than shipping a case of wine. And that doesn't include your time. We usually just forget those costs, but they are real.
We ship FedEx ground. It takes about 4 days for the package to arrive. The cost of shipping 6 bottles is usually around $14 and the cost for a case is around $20 - $30. These are high averages and your shipping will probably be lower depending on where the package is going. We charge your credit card for the exact shipping cost only. We do not add any other charges. We give you a free wine shipping container as a incentive. Shipping to a private residence costs more than to a business. All shipped wine must be signed for by an adult. It can not be left on your doorstep if no one is home.
