A Little Wild, A Little Magic: Celebrating Autumn at Wildside Winery 🍂✨

From foraging on the farm to honoring the changing seasons, there's something magical about autumn at Wildside.

There's a particular kind of beauty that arrives at Wildside in October.

The vineyard begins to settle into autumn. The gardens change, the trees offer up their seasonal treasures, and the entire farm seems to invite us to slow down and pay attention.

After all, there's a lot to discover when we take the time to look.

At Wildside, we've always believed that a winery can be more than a place to enjoy a glass of wine. Our 30-acre farm is a place to explore, create, learn, celebrate, and connect with the natural world.

And this October, we're bringing those ideas to life in some wonderfully unexpected ways.

The Colors Were Here All Along 🌿

What if the materials growing around us could become something beautiful in an entirely new way?

That's the inspiration behind our Fall Into Natural Dyeing Workshop on Friday, October 16, from 6–9 PM.

Using natural materials foraged right here on the Wildside farm, including walnuts, participants will explore the process of creating dyes from nature.

Then they'll use those dyes to transform a yoga bag into a one-of-a-kind creation to take home.

It's a hands-on opportunity to discover something that has existed for generations: the ability to create beautiful colors using the plants and materials nature provides.

And there's something especially meaningful about making an item with materials gathered from the very land where you're creating it.

No experience is necessary, and all materials are included.

A Little Fire for the Season 🔥🍎

As autumn deepens, we're exploring another tradition rooted in the natural world.

On Friday, October 30, at 6 PM, Magic by Day joins us for a Fire Cider Workshop.

Fire Cider is a traditional infused vinegar made with bold ingredients such as ginger, garlic, citrus, herbs, spices, and peppers.

During this workshop, participants will create their own 32-ounce jars while learning about the ingredients, their culinary traditions, and the symbolism associated with them.

The experience explores four ingredient families: Fire, Protection, Grounding, and Joy + Abundance.

Once properly prepared and infused, Fire Cider can be used in dressings, marinades, soups, and other kitchen creations.

It's a chance to learn something new, work with your hands, and take home something you can continue to enjoy long after the evening ends.

Friday, October 30 | 6 PM | $60 per person

Registration closes October 20.

A Weekend for the Wild at Heart 🔮🍷

Of course, October wouldn't be complete without a little witchy wonder.

Our Witches & Wine Festival returns October 24–25, bringing two days of seasonal celebration to the farm.

We love the playful, creative spirit that comes with this time of year. The opportunity to gather, explore, express ourselves, and enjoy the beautiful strangeness of autumn.

And while Witches & Wine celebrates the fun and enchantment of the season, our final October gathering invites something a little different.

Making Room for Remembrance 🕯️

On Saturday, October 31, from noon–6 PM, we'll gather for Samhain at Wildside.

Samhain is an ancient seasonal observance associated with the end of the harvest, the approach of winter, and the remembrance of those who came before us.

It's a time to acknowledge the natural cycles of life and make space for memory, gratitude, and connection.

Our celebration will include an Ancestor Altar, where guests can honor loved ones, along with Moments of Remembrance led by Jessica Ballard at 2 PM and 5 PM.

We'll also welcome The Mojo Tones for live music from 2–5 PM, and gather for storytelling around the fire.

Samhain at Wildside is free and open to everyone.

Whether these traditions are familiar to you or you're simply curious, you're welcome to join us.

The Magic Is in the Connection đź’ś

When we look at these experiences together, we see something that goes beyond the individual workshops and celebrations.

A walnut becomes a beautiful color.

Everyday kitchen ingredients become something made with intention.

A changing season becomes an invitation to celebrate.

A gathering around a fire becomes an opportunity to remember.

And a farm becomes a place where people come together to experience something meaningful.

That's the kind of magic we love at Wildside.

It doesn't require anything extraordinary. Sometimes it begins with something as simple as noticing what's already here.

The changing leaves. The ingredients in our kitchens. The stories we carry. The people sitting beside us.

This autumn, we invite you to come experience a little of it for yourself.

Come curious. Come creative. Come exactly as you are.

There's room for you here.
