🍷 Sip. Learn. Connect. 🍷
At Wildside Winery, we believe every glass tells a story—and now, you can hear ours.
For years, guests have called asking for a more curated wine tasting experience—one where they can learn more about the wines, the land, and the people behind every pour. We’re listening.
Starting this spring, we’re offering guided wine tastings by reservation every Friday at noon and 2 PM. These small-group sessions are perfect for curious beginners and seasoned wine lovers alike, offering an engaging, educational tasting that explores the breadth of Kentucky wine.
You'll sample six of our best sellers, thoughtfully selected to showcase the full spectrum of flavors—from crisp and citrusy to rich and fruity:
Seyval Blanc – Refreshing citrus and green apple
OPA’s Cabernet Sauvignon – Bold cherry, blackberry, and spice
Dangerous – Estate-grown Norton aged in bourbon barrels
White Merlot – Raspberry notes in a light-bodied sip
Vidal Blanc – Smooth, fruity, and floral
Fearless – Sweet and beloved Concord & Niagara blend
But this experience is more than just what’s in the glass.
It’s a journey through 21 years of Wildside history, beginning with a dream and a few rows of vines right here on Kentucky soil. We’ll talk about the rise, fall, and rebirth of Kentucky wine—how our region once rivaled European producers, how prohibition nearly wiped out our industry, and how winemakers like us are rebuilding something truly special.
You’ll learn how we tend our vines, why we plant the grapes we do, and what makes each vintage unique. From planting to bottling, every step is hands-on, local, and done with heart.
So if you’ve ever wanted to dive deeper into what makes Kentucky wine—and Wildside Winery—so unique, this is your invitation. Come sip with us, learn with us, and leave with a deeper appreciation for what’s growing in your own backyard.
📅 Fridays at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM📍 Wildside Winery – Versailles, KY🎟️ Reservations required. Call or visit wildsidewinery.com to book.
