There’s a moment, just before the sun reaches its peak, when the zinnia fields at Wildside come alive with color and movement. Butterflies float from bloom to bloom. Bees buzz gently beneath the summer sun. It’s a pollinator’s paradise — and you’re invited to step into it.

From August 2 through August 10, we’re celebrating this magic with our annual Zinnia Festival — eight full days of flowers, music, wine, and the kind of joy only a Kentucky summer can offer.

A Festival Rooted in Nature

Zinnias are more than just beautiful. At Wildside, they’re part of our commitment to supporting pollinators across the region. Our farm is home to honeybee hives, thriving milkweed patches, and fields designed to attract the butterflies and bees that keep ecosystems healthy.

When you walk through our zinnia patch, you’re walking through a carefully tended haven — one that helps nourish the pollinators we all depend on.

🌼 Pick Your Own Zinnias – Every Day!

There’s something deeply peaceful about wandering through rows of flowers and building your own bouquet. Whether you're gathering an armful or just a few stems, it’s all about slowing down and soaking it in.

Bring your own container if you’d like — we won’t be wrapping flowers, but we’ll have scissors for you at the tasting bar.

🎶 Weekend Music in the Vines

Weekends at Zinnia Festival feature live music, wine in hand, and the best kind of lazy afternoon vibes. Settle in under the trees and enjoy local artists performing from 1–4 PM each day:

Saturday, August 2: Jason Kyle Smith

Sunday, August 3: Ben Lacy & Corey Cross

Saturday, August 9: Matt Castle

Sunday, August 10: Elvis Cocktail

Looking for the perfect shady spot to enjoy the show? Head to the Walnut Grove, where the breeze rustles through the trees and the music floats softly between the branches.

🍷 Sip, Stroll & Savor

Zinnia Festival is about simple pleasures: a glass of wine, a walk among the blooms, and the joy of being surrounded by life in full color. Whether you’re spending the afternoon picking flowers, snapping photos with butterflies, or lounging with friends in the Walnut Grove, this is summer at its finest.
