The Art of Lingering: A Winter Week at Wildside

Winter at Wildside isn’t about filling the calendar.
It’s about creating room.
Room to breathe.
Room to notice.
Room to arrive without performing.
January is when the vineyard goes quiet and we design experiences that honor that stillness — spaces that invite you to linger instead of rush, to participate without pressure, and to connect in ways that feel natural and unforced.
This week at Wildside, everything on the calendar shares the same intention: slow down and stay awhile.
Silence as an Offering
Silent Sips & Stories | Fridays in January | 4:30–7:00 PM
Silent Sips & Stories exists for people who love books — and for people who love quiet just as much.
Bring the book you’ve been carrying around in your bag or on your nightstand. Settle into candlelight and cozy corners. Sip wine if you want, or don’t. Read for ten minutes or stay the whole evening.
There is no discussion. No agenda. No expectation to socialize.
Silence is welcome here. Conversation is optional.
This isn’t a book club.It’s permission.
Shared Tables, No Finish Line
Puzzle & Pour | Saturday | 12:00–7:00 PM
Some things are better when we work on them together — without rushing to complete them.
Puzzle & Pour is a drop-in winter afternoon built around communal tables and shared puzzles. We’ll have a variety of puzzles set up throughout the winery, ready for anyone to join in. Add a few pieces. Linger longer if you’d like. Bring a favorite puzzle or simply pull up a chair.
Wine is available by the glass or tasting, enjoyed at your own pace.
Come help us work on something.
Music, Movement, and Full Glasses
Sangria Sunday with Trippin Roots | Sunday | 2:00–5:00 PM
Sunday afternoons at Wildside bring a different kind of energy.
Local Americana favorites Trippin Roots return to the winery with a lively, full-bodied sound — music that invites movement, conversation, and that unmistakable hum of a room enjoying itself.
Our handcrafted sangria takes center stage for the afternoon, inspired by travels through Spain and made for sharing. Bold, refreshing, and perfect for long pours and lingering conversations between songs.
This is where the quiet of the week opens up — tables fill, laughter carries, and the winery shifts into its more social rhythm.
No tickets required. Just walk in, grab a glass, and settle into Sunday at Wildside.
A Sweet, Creative Pause — Tickets Closing Soon
Cookies & Cats: A Weasley & Luna Decorating Class | Saturday, January 17 | 2:00 PM
Before winter fully settles in, we’re offering one ticketed class designed purely for joy.
Cookies & Cats is a guided, hands-on cookie decorating class inspired by our winery cats, Weasley & Luna. You’ll learn icing techniques, detailing, and design while creating an adorable set of cat-themed cookies to take home.
The class is relaxed, beginner-friendly, and intentionally cozy. Wine will be available for purchase during the class, making it a perfect creative winter afternoon at the winery.
